About Me

Sara L. B. B.: Who is the Midnight Housewife? She is the gal who cleans the house well after she has tucked her little ones cozy in their beds. She maintains a mid-night bedtime and captures 7 hours of sleep before taking her silly sprites to the pool. Since the days of reading under the bedcovers with a flash light when she was little, The Midnight Housewife has been a night owl. Though a sunrise is quite lovely, the stars are much more enchanting. First and foremost, she is an artist who is currently consumed in growing up two totally awesome kiddos and squeezing in some creativity between sunny days and cuddles. This blog is about more then cleaning the house and wiping noses. This blog is about starting over and finding life again after a long year fighting cancer. 2015 update: Sara is now a 6 year cancer survivor in her third year of remission. The kids are growing up and so is her professional art career. Both keep her very busy. Though she tries to maintain studio hours each school day, ten hours a week, the wee hours of the night when the house is quiet still remains Sara's main creative space.
